In her fourth year as the starting goalie for the Red Knight soccer squad, senior Maddie Jobe is continually proving why she earned a scholarship to Iowa State University. As of September 21, Jobe has allowed only seven goals in nine games, including five shutouts. “We have a really good team this year, and we are hoping to go far,” said Jobe. “It should be an interesting and exciting year.” With Jobe guarding the net, BSM currently ranks first in the state in the 1A division. Jobe is one of ten seniors on this year’s team who are hoping to win a state title to cap off their varsity careers.
