In BSM’s 27-26 nail-biter on Friday, September 5, the Red Knights outpaced the Chaska Hawks in a thrilling victory. One of the main factors in the Red Knight win: senior running back Nate Barry. Rushing the ball for 243 yards with 8.1 yards per carry, he was undoubtedly the Red Knight’s most lethal form of attack. His efforts earned him two touchdowns and after the first two games of the season he sits at sixth in the state for rushing yards with 397 and eighth in the state for yards per game with 198.5. Because of these impressive statistics and his hard work on the field he has been rightfully named BSM Athlete of the Week for September 1-7.
