Minneapolis, MN

The sound of vintage jazz and rock and roll music welcomes shoppers as they first open the doors to B Squad Vintage. Located off of East 35th Street and Nicollet Avenue, B Squad Vintage is known for their bright colors dresses, crazy patterned 70′s and 80′s shirts, and faux fur coats. The walls are piled high with old men’s Leather work boots, western cowboy boots, and Minnetonka Moccasins. The trendy vintage heels are refurbished with rhinestones, metallic cloth, and embroidered patterns. “Compared to thrift stores, everything in our store is vintage, as opposed to a mixture of new and old. We have things dating as far back as the 1800s and that is what really makes us unique,” said employee Emily Hutchenson.

Shoppers crave B Squad Vintage 40s and 50s style dresses and tutus decorated with sequins, rhinetones  and fringe. Flowery bathing suits from the 60s era and old school pageant dresses stand directly across from a corner filled cabinet filled with one of a kind belt buckles, chunky earrings, old fashioned Ray Bans, purses, and rings.

Any man of style enjoys hunting through racks of vintage band t-shirts, retro brand name shirts such as Adidas and Pepsi and football Jerseys from yesteryear. This small corner shop provides every fashionista with all of their vintage wear. With prices starting around ten dollars, B Squad Vintage is more than just a place to window shop, their prices are affordable for fashion lovers of any age.

My very favorite vintage store in uptown!! B-Squad has a huge selection of everything, searching and discovering everything thats in the store is half the fun. I especially love the selection of jewelry and handbags, but the selection of tees and dresses is amazing! I recommend everyone stop by and see what they can find, it’ll be worth every minute.
