The BSM girl’s varsity Cross Country team participated in the Sections meet at the Galewoods farm in Minitrista on Wednesday, October 21. Junior runner Mae Fullerton received 7th place, qualifying her for the upcoming State meet. “I am really excited, because I didn’t know if I could do it, and I was really nervous beforehand,” Fullerton said.  This is Fullerton’s second year in a row qualifying for state in Cross Country, and her hard work, practice, and enthusiasm are what helped her along the way. “All of the hill workouts that Coach Hanson and Coach Wander made the team do really helped me to condition and prepare for the race, and I think the whole team was really enthusiastic and supportive, which helped everyone who raced in Sections have a strong finish,” Fullerton said.
