Coming off their most recent win against Bloomington Kennedy the Red Knights had high hopes going going into their games against the Chaska Hawks but ended up falling short in their loss. The Red Knights fell behind early in the game ending the first half losing 24-31. In the second half the Red Knights played much better overall proving that they are a better team then the one that appeared in the first half.  Despite the team’s ability to improve in the second half they were unable to perform the comeback ending the game with a 47-55 loss. Seniors Azzairia Jackson- Sherrod and Sidney Liebl both scored 12 points leading the team in scoring. We fell short on transition defense. They got a lot of open lay-ups in transition. To get the win next time we will get back on defense, make smart decisions on offense, and continue to draw the foul,” Jackson-Sherrod said.
