The Knightettes’ first competition of the season yielded a thundering response as the Varsity team earned first place and the Junior Varsity earned second. The kick competition was held at Bloomington-Kennedy High School on November 25, where five varsity teams and two junior varsity teams competed. Many nerves were present as this was the first competition for many new Knightettes. Despite this the team looked confident as ever as the kicked their way to their first win. “When I saw them dance I knew they were going to win,” freshman and rookie Knightette Bridget Yazvec said.
