Football team roars from behind to take down Bloomington Jefferson

The Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys football team defeated Bloomington Jefferson on Friday, October 10 in a thrilling comeback. The boys struggled in the first half allowing bloomington to get an early lead of 16-0. As the half ended spirits were down and the Red Knights knew they had a long way to go in order to win the game. They had a roaring comeback in the second half scoring 33 points for a final score of 33-24. “Our defense stepped it up and even got a pick six and the offense was much more in sync in the second half which allowed us to come away with a win”, said safety Isaac Hogen.
