Girls’ Swimming Beats Panthers
The BSM girls’ swim team certainly made a splash at their swim meet against conference opponent Spring Lake Park High School on Thursday, September 20, bringing home a 99-81 win. Everyone on the team was on their game, leaving the meet with wins in all but two varsity races. Standouts for the varsity team include a sweep in the 100 meter Butterfly, with eighth grader Madison Semler taking first place, freshman Grace Hedin taking second place, and senior Amanda Dingman coming in third. The 50 Freestyle was won by senior Amanda Semler with a time of 26.37 and the 100 Breaststroke was won by junior Annika Wahlquist with a time of 1.18.
