Baseball beats Columbia Heights
The baseball team shut down the Columbia Heights Hylanders on Monday, May 7 by a score of 14-0. Senior pitcher Willie Falk pitched his first complete shut-out game, allowing only 2 hits in the 5 innings played. The Red Knights scored quickly and easily over the Hylanders, including a 6-run second inning and a 5-run third, while keeping the opposing team scoreless.
This highlight win brings the team to the top of the conference, tied with Robbinsdale Cooper and Totino Grace with 8 conference wins and 2 losses. The Red Knights overall record for the season is 10-3. Their next game is on Wednesday, May 9 at Irondale High S
