Girls’ basketball wins fifth straight game
The girls’ basketball team maintained their undefeated record in the North Suburban Conference after their win against St. Francis on Tuesday, February 21 by a score of 61-48. In their second straight game without sophomore guard Grace Coughlin, the Red Knights outscored the Fighting Saints 33-22 in the first half, and did not give up the lead at any point in the second half. Senior forward Khadijah Shumpert scored a team high 19 points, followed by senior guard Josie Dillon with 13. The win was the team’s fifth straight.
