Minneapolis Institute of Arts galleries blossoming with exhibit, Art in Bloom

This May, the galleries of the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) will be transformed into gardens inspired by the surrounding artwork. MIA is hosting the 25th Annual Art in Bloom festival from May 1-4. Art and Bloom will showcase more than 150 floral artists. Each floral design will be displayed next to the artwork that inspired the artist. Art in Bloom will include lectures by well-known floral designers and writers.  Viewers can also participate in guided tours. –Admission is free, but donations will be accepted to support the Friends of the Institute’s new Children’s Fund.
