Toga Tuesday: living the Olympic tradition
Students dress up in togas, showing off Olympic fashion.
On the second day of Homecoming week, students came to school wearing a distinctively classical outfit, the toga. The theme this year for Homecoming is Red, Knight and Blue in honor of the Olympics. When the student council members met to discuss Homecoming week, they decided on wearing togas for one of the dress up days. “We asked ourselves, ‘how could we incorporate history and culture of the Olympics?’ Our first thought was togas,” junior student council president Grace Coughlin said.
