KE website wins numerous awards
Known for consistent excellence in both print and online publishing, the Knight Errant received several awards for their online content and site design, taking the prestigious honor of best high school newspaper website in the state by the Minnesota High School Press Association. Content from the website was also awarded: winners include senior Emma Eldred taking second place for features stories; BSM alum Logan McMillen (‘11) winning third place for best media reviews; and honorable mention to senior Ethan Perushek for best “page one” layout. The website also acquired awards for best Staff Editorial from 2010, omitted from the website days after its publishing. Also this year, the website took fourth place for high schools with enrollment under 1500 from the National High School Journalism Convention, held in Minneapolis the weekend of November 18.
