Senor and captain of the Red Knight lacrosse team, Bailey Dodds, has committed to continue his lacrosse career next year at Sacred Heart University, alongside fellow player Ryan Butts.

Where did you commit to play next year? How did it happen? When? (school and location):

Sacred Heart, they called me after the All-Star game at the Battle of the Hotbeds and we talked throughout the end of summer and beginning of school and then I visited there and they offered me a scholarship.

What about the school caused you to decide to commit here?

The chance at being able to come in a play right away, and they gave me the best deal.

What are you looking forward to playing for this school?

When I went on my visit, I enjoyed myself a lot with the guys, and I knew this was a place I would want to be.

What are your hopes for your senior lacrosse season at Benilde?

I look forward to having lots of fun, lots of success, and lots of lobbing.

What’s your best memory as a player on the BSM lacrosse team?

Last spring, there seemem to be a void between some of the older players and the younger guys on the team, but over the course of the season we filled the void and had a lot of fun.

Any comments about your times as a BSM player or your hopes for next year?

Playing on the lacrosse team is a great experience, and a perfect way to meet nice new guys.
