About

Welcome to the Web site of the Knight Errant, the school newspaper of Benilde-St. Margaret’s School in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.

This Web site was launched in March 2008, and in its first full year of production it won an Online Pacemaker award from the National Scholastic Press Association.  It also won the Best of Show award for school news Web sites at the Minnesota High School Press Association Convention in October 2009.

All content on this Web site is written by and produced by the students of the Journalism I and Journalism II classes at Benilde-St. Margaret’s School.  The online edition is updated on a daily basis, and the print edition is distributed every two to three weeks.

Editorials, columns, and reviews that appear with a byline are the opinions of the writer and not necessarily those of the staff, adviser, or administration. The staff editorial is written by the editorial board of the Knight Errant and does not necessarily reflect the opinions of all students on the staff, of the adviser, or of the administration.

The adviser of the Knight Errant is Jason Wallestad.  Send comments or suggestions to jwallestad@bsm-online.org.
